The term “corporate responsibility” (CR) sums up our strategy of incorporating social and environmental concerns into our business processes. We are convinced that if economic, environmental and social factors are systematically factored in, we can both ensure the long-term success of our business and at the same time generate benefits for society.

Knorr-Bremse’s commitment to sustainable development is founded on the one hand on the Group’s five core corporate values, as well as on its Corporate Responsibility Policy which describes the company’s principles and strategic orientation towards sustainable and socially responsible business practices. On the other hand the company’s sustainability roadmap is founded on the internationally recognized principles of the UN Global Compact which sets out a code of conduct with regard to human rights, labor, environmental protection and working against corruption.
