ELRP Empty & Load Remote Proportioning ValveThe ELRP Empty & Load Remote Proportioning valve provides sensing and proportioning of the loaded or unloaded conditon of the car in separate portions.
The ELRP proportioning valve is available in 50% and 60% proportioning models
The ELRP proportioning valve has three pipe connections at the rear and one on the side (pilot) of the pipe bracket
The ELRP sensor valve has two pipe connections to the rear of the pipe bracket
The ELRP sensor valve is available with standard or low profile arm in bolt through the back or stud mounting configuration to the pipe bracket
A visual indicator shows empty/load brake condition
Automatic replenishment of leaking brake cylinder in empty mode
Automatic increase in brake cylinder pressure during grade loading
Both ELRP portions are lightweight, with a minimum of parts
In the empty position (20% load), rock and roll of +/- 3/4 inches will not affect the empty load brake
In the loaded position, rock and roll of +/- 3/4 inches will not affect the loaded car brake
