Advanced design makes the BMB-60 less expensive to own.

• Sand casting (as compared to welded fabrication) allows the cylinder body and non-pressure head to be strengthened in critical areas to reduce high stress levels.
• The slack adjuster incorporates a face friction clutch (versus a geared clutch), which increases brake shoe life by assuring finer, continuous slack adjustment between brake applications.
• Increased reliability – the brake cylinder has been designed and tested to high vibration levels to ensure product performance throughout its life cycle.
• Compatible with #18 and #24 beams, NYAB’s BMB-60 incorporates our Group “N” slack adjuster and high quality packing cup seals.

• Designed for a perfect fit – Nine- and ten-inch brake cylinders, and three lever ratios, allow you to size the system to the freight wagon’s requirements.
• Simpler, more ‘open’ design makes it easy to inspect, access, and verify piston stroke of a car’s braking system, saving time and simplifying maintenance.
• Cylinder-bolster connection is also easily accessed and visible, further ensuring ease of maintenance or replacement in rare instances when service may be required.
• Interchangeable with truck-mounted brake systems — plus BMB-60 utilizes standard rods and levers for the hand brake connection, simplifying your inventory.
