DB-60 II^®, the most advanced control valve in the world, is the only product with Brake Cylinder Maintaining (BCM^®) that resupplies air to leaky brake cylinders.

The DB-60 II uses soft-seated poppet valves and power seal K-rings to ensure superior performance in all weather conditions.

Soft-seated poppet valves

Poppet valves are free from friction and stiction (cold welding), so UDEs are a non-issue. These valves get their controlled loading through a unique metal-to-metal seating geometry, resulting in a far longer service life.

Superior diaphragm clamping

The DB-60 II uses a special, thickened diaphragm bead for clamping. This enhancement greatly improves durability and extends useful life by several years.

K-rings

K-rings provide dynamic sealing with none of the weaknesses inherent in other sealing methods, and require no compression when installed and float within the assembly, eliminating the problem of stiction (or “cold welding”).
