LEADER AutoControl® automatically operates the throttle and dynamic brakes. When engaged, AutoControl ensures driver compliance and precise train operation. Draft gear wear is reduced with AutoControl and fuel savings improve.
Another available option, LEADER DriverAssist®, displays prompts for optimal throttle and dynamic brake settings as the engineer monitors the screen and moves the controls to the correct position.
LEADER is deployed on more than 5,000 locomotives worldwide. The number of locomotives increases each and every year and the percentage of fuel saved is improving as well.
